God is with us
We are in a relarionship with Him
So its nt wht we're giving things in order to draw close to God rathee it is because He has gone close to hs. We r now in a position whr we can giv thx to Him.
How fullnest of joy?
Mourning over of our sin
Difficult times, think abt we need God
Midst of suffering, my heart isn't right, im sorrow over this, then its the blessedness tht come, thr is a joy tht comes
饥渴慕义的人有福了 instead of 义人有福了
Don't pretend u r perfect before God,
Don't pretend evrything is ok
U cnt get tht in this world, in this life
Be real with Him
Wht i do to make God happy?
Nt to deny the reality, difficulties n lost tht we face
Whr our heart is, whr our hope is, thts whr the joy come frm
Wht is ultimately happening, divergent away u frm tht, denying it frm u, coming with a permanent sorrow, something is permanently loss
But If whtever happening to u, whtever difficulties is like a refining process tht take u closer to wht He wan u to be, while in tht u can rejoy, nt bcuz enjoy pain, nt suffering alot, i can rejoy bcuz proves within me a kind of character, n takes me to a place whr i ultimately find my hope n security in God bcuz tht is my source of my joy, anythign stregthen my security in Him, i could also rejoice, enjoy process, know wht it can produce in me, if gt focus on, thts wht i gonna get to, this is wht i gonna go thru to get tht, then its worth it
Temptation in world out of control
Thr is only one who can bring peace to our hearts in the mist of tht storm. So tht we g through it differently.
Thts whr God comes in. It's nt ththe takes all storm in our lifes away, rather he is able to giv us the kind of joy, giv hope determination n strength we need to walk thru time of difficulty.
Best way to present gospel to ppl who are pain n suffering
Be real with other ppl
Turn to God
Need to trust God, receive forgiveness frm u
Restore relationship with God n others
Pretend lie about their failure
Hard to trust really veiling urself frm who u are, sadly, loss in body of Chirst, how to move pass tht to restore the relationship?
If we put our trust in anything or anyone apart frm Him, we are going to be let down. We hav to start here.
So stop tht, he is the only one who wont let us down in terms of his character.
Mother father may forsake their child, but God nvr will forsake us
Nt realize how much God love them, when we realize how much God loves us, he wan us to come with all anxiety, failures, failing, he specializes strengthen us when we r weak, I gt so much to loss, i cnt afford to be real- wrong perception,
When we r real, thts whr we can gain evrything, including life n forgiveness n evrything else, so we just think easy route
Cover up, no need evryone to know- easy to do, best thing to do (wrong)
The best thing to do- bring it up to God
Consequences
Cover up- lonely, desperate, apart frm God, keep material things u hav
Loss would be huge, but after all everything is to be gain
God, self, others
We cant put up leaders on paddlestone
Failings of peter, abraham, moses
Wht they do when they fail
Nt deny, own, confess, move on
If live in deny, live hope
I fail, i nt worthy

when leadership failes, they think the position to lead, no sin
if we say we without sin, we are deceiving ourselves

How do we nurture healthy relationship of respect n trust with those who are in authority?
How do we protect ourselves frm being disillusioned with our leaders?
respect n love
no nid to tell, shld be known
how do we love leaders
speak the truth in love
as leaders, we have to remind ourselves tht our own hearts are deceitful n therefore we need ppl around us who can ask us the questions tht need to be asked. Nas we need to be open to it.
self righteous anger- think ourselves always right, think others always wrong
- in a position heart filled with loneliness, bitterness, anger, range, disappointment
might think frm enemy or against u when someone challenge u
u cant hear love anymore, u think it always as an attack
how do u hold urself accountable?
nt to be defensive when ppl come to me with feedbck
defended even its a praising message
butt we do need each other
nt to hav an unoffended heart- nt pushing ppl away when they speak
unoffended against love
principle to live- someone speaking to me, someone shooting to me, challenging my heart
be in prayer grp, share struggles, failures, pray for each other
whr i can be honest with myself?
whr is the place i can say im nt good, nt doing well rt now
tht they can pray for me?
whr r u listening to others so tht ur heart can be challenge with the msg send to u?
how r u connected to a church?
nt expect healing in 1hr, gonna takes days, weeks, months
i need u to ask me those kind of ques
i need u to challenge me with those things
i need to put it tht into my life to make sure im nt thinking about im better than anybody else
relationship, ask ourselves whr do we failed?
we need to hold on evrything on the life lightly, all of God, evrything we hav is frm Him
this is the gift frm God, if God wan to take away,
at the end, we are closer to God
fall in love of gospel voice of Jesus Christ, falling deeply in love with another voice
